After finishing studies, became project architects at Behnisch and Partner. Worked on, among other things, the new German parliament building in Bonn. The four archi-tects founded the practice 4a in 1990. Aims: dealing with the emotionality of spaces. "Creating atmosphere." A 4a emphasis is the connection between the worlds of work and leisure.
